Greetings and Happy Holidays! First off we have to put out a huge thank you to all of our supporters and our label CAU for two amazing years with this band. We have been so lucky to have accomplished so many goals and made so many memories and friends along the way. We are so excited for what the future holds! That being mentioned we are finishing off 2010 with a concert of grand proportions at the one and only Chicago Blues & Bluegrass festival. This years headliners include Psycho-Folk Kings "Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeroes and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. GBH will hit the pavilion stage around 5:00 PM. You can purchase tickets online threw www.cbbfestival.com, or write us an email to purchase our discount advance tickets which we only have a couple left! So January is fast approaching and we will once again be hitting the road again! We have announced at least 15 Tour dates in the month of January via our websites and will announce a few more in the coming weeks. Coming off the show with Edward Sharp as well as supporting our new album the band is looking forward to hitting a lot of towns and cities we haven't played yet so we really could use your support! Check the website for updates to see when we will be coming to a city near you! See you in the new year! Bring your Coat! -Goodbyehomies

Happy Fall!

We have had some nice time off here and have hit the ground running with shows and rehearsals this fall. We had a great time playing the Viaduct on the 25th and have recently been focused on practicing our new material and will begin recording our sophomore album tentatively titles "Electric Cowboy Lullabies" sometime in November once we have narrowed down what songs we are planning to record. We are also working on a short documentary that will feature interviews with the band as well as perspectives from some local Chicago musicians titled "Impossible Light". The film will mostly focus on the current state of the music business as well as highlight some of the recording and marketing of our forthcoming album. Look for a preview sometime near Halloween.

We have two big shows coming up before we lock ourselves up for the winter to finish ECB. We will be playing the Chicago Roots Collective Fest on Friday November 5th at 10PM with our lovely friends in the Roots Collective at Chicago's famous dirty rock club, the Elbo Room. THIS SHOW IS GUARANTEED TO SELL OUT!!!! GET THERE EARLY!! for those of you who have been to the Elbo Room before it can be kind of small so it will fill up fast! You can purchase tickets online at www.elboroomchicago.com.

December 4th will be our final Gig of the year and it is going to be huge!! We will be joining Lollapalooza Alumni Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeroes along with Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and 35+ great acts for the third annual Chicago Blues & Bluegrass Fest at Chicago's Historic Congress Theater. We will be playing at 5:00PM this year, and will shortly be selling tickets, so stay tuned for more updates to come! Check out some info on both festivals below as well as at www.cbbfestival.com

Hello Friends of GBH! Greetings and Happy summer to everyone! We have been toiling endlessly to record our new record "The Troubles" and are shooting to release it sometime this fall, there will be both a Vinyl, Compact Disc & Digital Version! We are also super excited to be working with Producer Ellis Clark, who has worked for Atlantic Records, Bands like Le Conchorde, Phil Angotti, Epicycle and the Handcuffs and even Chicago's own Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. We also have quite a bit of Live Shows coming up shortly with some awesome local bands joining on the bill's. Saturday September 19th will be the Inaugural show for a Chicago based organization "Chicago Roots Collective" in which we are members. It's basically a local Music Mafia in which the mission statement is something along the lines of "Together we achieve more". All ten bands will perform at Chicago's historic venue adjacent from Wrigley Field, the Cubby Bear. This will be a night you can not miss! On that note we are proud to announce GBH will be supporting five time Grammy winner Bella Fleck and the Flecktones on 12-12-09. We are extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing night! We hope to share this experience with you, so do not miss this show! We will also be shortly announcing the date of our CD release show, and information regarding the sale of our upcoming release "The Troubles". We would also like to extend our thanks out to everyone who has contributed in the continued success of this band, and helped us to accomplish so much in such a short time period.
